You might not expect to have many laughs at a Piaf concert, but you will at this one. Gay breaks up Piaf’s powerful repertoire with funny tales of her French experience and, without a hint of imitation, celebrates the magic rather than the tragic of the French icon.Understanding French is not a requirement to enjoy this concert. Gay combines her own translations with the original French in performing Piaf’s greatest hits along with some unknown gems that will go straight to your heart. Join her and her sublime five piece ensemble on Bastille Day at Joe's Pub.

The New York Times
"An enchanting performer who sings with heart-stirring transparency and possesses some of Piaf’s spirit as well as the throbbing mixture of steel and cotton in the voice."
Charles Isherwood

Time Out NY 2009 TOP TEN CABARET
